Chocolate industry

Roasting of the cacao beans, requires steam at a temperature of 110-220°C/230-428°F depending on the bean
Tempering of the chocolate, requires hot water at relatively low temperatures (43-46°C/ 109-115°F)

Dairy production

Pasteurization or sterilization, requires hot water or steam with different temperature levels and throughput times, ranging from 60°C/140°F and 160°C/320°F, depending on the product
Evaporators to concentrate milk powder, whey powder, canned products etc., requires steam in several passes
Cleaning In Place, requires hot water mixed with acids and cleaning agents

Breweries

Mashing of the malt, requires hot water between 40-75°C/104-167°F
Wort boiling, requires steam injected into the jackets of the kettle to achieve boiling temperatures of 102-105°C/216-221°F
Bottling, requires steam for bottle washing
Cleaning In Place, requires hot water mixed with acids and cleaning agents

Pharmaceutical

Sterilization of dry goods in autoclaves, requires hot water or steam

Automotive

Pre-painting and painting of shock absorbers and car bodies, requires hot water for degreasing and phosphate tanks. Steam/hot water is used for air make-up units and flash ovens in paint booths
HVAC of production spaces and office buildings, requires hot water for air handling units and/or space heating
Curing of tires, requires steam for supplying heat and pressure for the chemical crosslinking of the rubber and vulcanizing agents
